Dental Assistants Recognition Week is slated for March 5-11, 2017. It’s a time when dental assistants hopefully get some of the recognition they deserve for the hard work they put in every day to impact the lives of patients and the bottom line of the practice.
I was recently lucky enough to sit down with one of the legends of the dental industry (and someone I am fortunate enough to call my friend), Linda Miles. Linda started her dental career as a dental assistant and, like me, she still believes strongly in the power of the assistant in today’s practice.
During our talk, Linda gave some great advice to dentists on how to utilize their assistants to the fullest, as well as some words of wisdom to assistants on how they can enjoy their career more.
